BIO
I'm a born and raised Hawaii artist. I've been artistically inclined since I was five or six years old and I used to draw my favorite characters from Disney films. Then it became creating my own Pokemon characters. I didn't start trying to really hone myself until high school when I would draw portraits of my friends. From there I took an art class in college and developed an affinity for oils and watercolor. Art got me through some dark times battling with chronic illness. It was a balm to my soul to still be able to create beauty in the midst of darkness. I also used it as a way to connect with my deceased father, who was a wonderful painter. I sign my paintings the exact same way he signed his, to continue his legacy. I began exploring digital art during the pandemic and have been loving the variety of brushes and techniques available digitally. I enjoy drawing and creating anything that captures my idea of beauty in the world.
